Tears of rejection

Behind the smile is fear

Fear of losing my beloved

Behind the smile is betrayal

Betrayal by loved ones

I always smile not because I am happy

I smile because I endure the pains


Behind the smile is failure

Failure of not achieving it in life

Behind the smile is distress

But I smile because it comforts me

Behind the smile is a broken heart

Behind the smile is a Comforter

Behind the Comforter is my Smiles.
